What are the requirements for UCT students who want to apply for the PGDA?
PGDA applicants are required to meet the following minimum admission requirements:
A graduate of UCT who has completed the prescribed courses for the BCom specialising in Financial Accounting: Chartered Accountant or the BBusSc specialising in Finance with Accounting in the minimum time to graduation.
Or a graduate of UCT who has completed the BCom specialising in Financial Accounting: Chartered Accountant or the BBusSc specialising in Finance with Accounting, who has completed the following courses within the preceding 2 years:
ACC3009 Financial Reporting III
ACC3022 Corporate Governance II
ACC3004 Taxation II
Either FTX4057 Applied Investments or ACC3023 Management Accounting II,
and who has obtained an average mark of 53% within the preceding 2 years for the following courses:
